How peptide lab testing works for every batch we sell, what our 99% purity line means and how to check a product’s identity yourself.
When a batch arrives, we send a sample to a US lab before anything goes on the site. The lab checks purity by HPLC. If the result comes back under 99%, the batch doesn’t get listed. If it passes, we label the vials and put the product up for sale.
That’s the whole idea behind Oath research. Nothing is sold until it passes, and the product page tells you plainly what’s in the vial.
HPLC purity tells you how much of the sample is the main compound. It doesn’t always tell you which compound that is. Two peptides can be so close in mass that purity testing alone won’t separate them. AOD9604 and Fragment 176-191 are a good example: they differ by a single oxygen atom. In cases like that, identity needs mass spectrometry.

Testing is only useful if you can match it to a known compound. So each product page lists:
The amino acid sequence, molecular formula and molecular weight, so you know exactly what was synthesized.
The CAS number where one exists and a link to NIH PubChem, so you can check the record yourself.
Where other sites print the wrong CAS number or mass, we say so. IGF-1 LR3 and Ovagen both have notes.
Testing covers the powder when it leaves us. After that, storage matters. Most freeze-dried peptides keep well in the fridge at 36 to 46 °F (2 to 8 °C) and away from light. A few, such as TB-500 and SLU-PP-332, are better frozen. NAD+ breaks down with light and heat, and glutathione oxidizes in air. Each product page has its own storage notes.
If you have a question about testing for a specific product, contact us with the product name and order number and we’ll help.
All Oath Peptides products are sold for laboratory research use only. They are not drugs, foods, supplements or cosmetics, and they are not for human or veterinary use.
A research result is only as good as the material that went into it. If a vial is 90% pure, a tenth of what you’re working with is something else, and you won’t know what. That’s why we set the line at 99% and don’t list anything below it.
Testing also protects you from simple mix-ups. Peptides with similar names, or with almost identical masses, get confused in the supply chain more often than you’d think. Our product pages flag the ones we know about, and every page links to NIH PubChem so you can compare the formula and weight yourself.
We check purity on every batch through a US lab. You can check the identity details on the page: sequence, formula, molecular weight and CAS number. Between the two, you should never have to guess what’s in the vial you ordered. If something on a page doesn’t match what you expected, tell us and we’ll look into it.
