What are research peptides?

A peptide is a short chain of amino acids. Most of the ones we sell are between two and 44 residues long, made by solid-phase synthesis and freeze-dried into a powder that keeps well in the fridge. A few items on this page aren’t peptides at all. NAD+ is a coenzyme, and SLU-PP-332 and 5-Amino-1MQ are small molecules. We stock them because the same labs tend to use them.

Research peptides are sold for in-vitro and laboratory work only. None of them are approved for human or veterinary use, and we don’t give dosing advice.

Shop research peptides by category

We’ve grouped the range by what each compound is studied for, so you can get to the right vial fast. Some peptides sit in more than one group.

  • Healing and Recovery Peptides: Recovery peptides are the compounds labs reach for in tissue repair research, with BPC-157 and TB-500 as the best-known pair.
  • Growth Hormone Peptides: Growth hormone peptides are compounds that act on the receptors controlling growth hormone release.
  • Metabolic Research Peptides: Metabolic research peptides are compounds studied in fat metabolism, energy use and weight research.
  • Nootropic Peptides: Nootropic peptides are compounds studied in brain, memory and stress research.
  • Anti-Aging and Longevity Peptides: Longevity peptides and related compounds are the ones aging researchers use most, including Epithalon, MOTS-c, SS-31 and GHK-Cu.
  • Immune Peptides: Immune peptides are compounds from or related to the thymus and immune signaling.
  • Skin and Tanning Peptides: Tanning peptides and skin peptides are compounds studied in pigmentation and skin research.
  • Hormone and Reproductive Peptides: Reproductive peptides are compounds studied in hormone signaling and reproduction.
  • Peptide Blends: Peptide blends put two to four research peptides in one vial at a fixed ratio.
  • Bioregulator Peptides: Bioregulator peptides are very short peptides, two to four amino acids long, from the series developed at the St.

How to choose the right research peptides

Start with the compound your protocol names, then pick the vial size. Most peptides come in two strengths, and every strength comes as a single vial or a 3, 6 or 12 pack. The packs bring the price per vial down by 10 to 20 percent. If you’re new to working with freeze-dried peptides, add a vial of Research Water to reconstitute them.

For identifiers, sequences and literature, NIH PubChem is the best free source. We link to the matching PubChem entry on each product page.

Storing and handling research peptides

Keep sealed vials in the fridge at 36 to 46 °F (2 to 8 °C) and away from light until you need them. When you reconstitute, let the vial reach room temperature, add the solvent slowly down the inside wall and swirl gently until it’s clear. Don’t shake it. Label each vial with the date you mixed it, and keep mixed vials cold. Each product page lists any compound that needs special handling, such as freezing or DMSO.

Why buy research peptides from Oath Peptides

We ship from Gilbert, Arizona with 2-day shipping. Every batch is tested by a US lab, with purity at 99% or higher, and every vial arrives sealed and labeled with the compound and the amount. Most items come as a single vial or in 3, 6 and 12 packs that save up to 20 percent.

Research peptides FAQ

Are research peptides legal to buy in the US?

They’re sold for laboratory research use. They aren’t approved as drugs, foods or supplements, and they aren’t for human or animal use.

How should research peptides be stored?

Keep sealed vials in the fridge at 36 to 46 °F (2 to 8 °C) and out of light. A few, like TB-500 and SLU-PP-332, keep best frozen.
