Description
Cartalax 20mg from Oath Peptides is a synthetic Ala-Glu-Asp bioregulator tripeptide supplied as freeze-dried powder. Each vial holds 20mg and costs $80. It’s sold for laboratory research only and ships from our warehouse in Gilbert, Arizona, with 2-day shipping on every order.

What is Cartalax?
Cartalax is a synthetic tripeptide, Ala-Glu-Asp (AED), from the bioregulator series developed at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. It’s the synthetic counterpart of a polypeptide complex taken from cartilage.
It’s a defined synthetic peptide, not a tissue extract. Add a glycine to the end and you get the Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly sequence of Epithalon.

In published papers, AED interacts with DNA and with histone proteins in cultured cells. The binding sites come from molecular modeling. See Cartalax on NIH PubChem.
About Khavinson bioregulator peptides
Cartalax belongs to a family of very short peptides, two to four amino acids long, developed at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology under Vladimir Khavinson. The group started in the 1970s and 1980s with polypeptide extracts from animal organs. Later they picked out short sequences inside those extracts and began making them synthetically.
Most of the published research still comes from that institute and the labs it works with, and much of it is cell culture and animal work. Independent replication is limited, so it makes sense to design studies with that in mind. You can compare the whole family in our bioregulator peptides range.
How to store Cartalax
Keep the sealed vial in the fridge at 36 to 46 °F (2 to 8 °C). After reconstitution, keep it cold and use it within a few weeks.
Most labs reconstitute with Research Water, which is sterile-filtered water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol.
When it’s time to reconstitute, let the vial come to room temperature first. Add the solvent slowly down the inside wall of the vial so it doesn’t hit the powder directly, then swirl gently until the liquid is clear. Don’t shake it. Write the date on the label so you know how long it’s been mixed.

Cartalax FAQ
What tissue is Cartalax associated with?
Cartilage. It’s the synthetic counterpart to a cartilage-derived polypeptide complex.
How is Cartalax related to Epithalon?
Epithalon is Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly. Cartalax is the first three of those residues.
Is Cartalax 20mg for human use?
No. It’s sold for laboratory research only. It isn’t approved for human or veterinary use, and we don’t give dosing advice.
