Description
Cortagen 20mg from Oath Peptides is a synthetic Ala-Glu-Asp-Pro bioregulator tetrapeptide supplied as freeze-dried powder. Each vial holds 20mg and costs $80. It’s sold for laboratory research only and ships from our warehouse in Gilbert, Arizona, with 2-day shipping on every order.

What is Cortagen?
Cortagen is a synthetic tetrapeptide, Ala-Glu-Asp-Pro (AEDP). It was made by directed synthesis based on the amino acid analysis of Cortexin, a polypeptide preparation from bovine cerebral cortex. It’s a defined synthetic peptide, not an extract.
The original patent describes it as a white, odorless, amorphous powder. It comes from the same source material as Pinealon.

About Khavinson bioregulator peptides
Cortagen belongs to a family of very short peptides, two to four amino acids long, developed at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology under Vladimir Khavinson. The group started in the 1970s and 1980s with polypeptide extracts from animal organs. Later they picked out short sequences inside those extracts and began making them synthetically.
Most of the published research still comes from that institute and the labs it works with, and much of it is cell culture and animal work. Independent replication is limited, so it makes sense to design studies with that in mind. You can compare the whole family in our bioregulator peptides range.
How to store Cortagen
Keep the sealed vial in the fridge at 36 to 46 °F (2 to 8 °C). After reconstitution, keep it cold and use it within a few weeks.
Most labs reconstitute with Research Water, which is sterile-filtered water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol.
When it’s time to reconstitute, let the vial come to room temperature first. Add the solvent slowly down the inside wall of the vial so it doesn’t hit the powder directly, then swirl gently until the liquid is clear. Don’t shake it. Write the date on the label so you know how long it’s been mixed.
Cortagen 20mg price and pack sizes
