Sermorelin is a synthetic copy of the first 29 amino acids of human growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), which is 44 amino acids long in full. It’s also written GRF(1-29)NH2, because the end of the chain is amidated. The formula is C149H246N44O42S and the molecular weight is 3,358.04 g/mol.
It was first made in the 1980s. Researchers settled on this 29-residue piece because it’s the shortest part of GHRH that still contains the whole receptor-binding sequence. The single sulfur in the formula comes from a methionine at position 27.

How to store sermorelin
