What is GHRP-2?
GHRP-2, also known as pralmorelin, is a synthetic hexapeptide with the sequence D-Ala-D-2-Nal-Ala-Trp-D-Phe-Lys-NH2. “D-2-Nal” is D-2-naphthylalanine, an amino acid you won’t find in natural proteins. The formula is C45H55N9O6 and the molecular weight is 817.99 g/mol.
It was developed in the early 1990s in a series of synthetic growth hormone releasing peptides. It was one of the first compounds known to act on the growth hormone secretagogue receptor, which later turned out to be the receptor for ghrelin, the stomach hormone discovered in 1999.

How to store GHRP-2
Refrigerate the sealed vial at 36 to 46 °F (2 to 8 °C). Keep reconstituted GHRP-2 cold.
Most labs reconstitute with Research Water, which is sterile-filtered water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol.
When it’s time to reconstitute, let the vial come to room temperature first. Add the solvent slowly down the inside wall of the vial so it doesn’t hit the powder directly, then swirl gently until the liquid is clear. Don’t shake it. Write the date on the label so you know how long it’s been mixed.
