Description
Testagen 20mg from Oath Peptides is a synthetic Lys-Glu-Asp-Gly bioregulator tetrapeptide supplied as freeze-dried powder. Each vial holds 20mg and costs $80. It’s sold for laboratory research only and ships from our warehouse in Gilbert, Arizona, with 2-day shipping on every order.

What is Testagen?
Testagen is a synthetic tetrapeptide, Lys-Glu-Asp-Gly (KEDG), from the Khavinson short-peptide series. It has no steroid structure and isn’t chemically related to androgens. It’s just four amino acids.
It shares its first three residues with Vesugen and Prostamax. The fourth residue, glycine, is what makes it Testagen.

What researchers study Testagen for
KEDG has been reported to get inside cultured cells and their nuclei, to bind short DNA strands with some sequence preference, and to associate with histones H1, H2B, H3 and H4. These are in-vitro and modeling results. See Testagen on NIH PubChem.
About Khavinson bioregulator peptides
Testagen belongs to a family of very short peptides, two to four amino acids long, developed at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology under Vladimir Khavinson. The group started in the 1970s and 1980s with polypeptide extracts from animal organs. Later they picked out short sequences inside those extracts and began making them synthetically.
Most of the published research still comes from that institute and the labs it works with, and much of it is cell culture and animal work. Independent replication is limited, so it makes sense to design studies with that in mind. You can compare the whole family in our bioregulator peptides range.
How to store Testagen
Keep the sealed vial in the fridge at 36 to 46 °F (2 to 8 °C). After reconstitution, keep it cold and use it within a few weeks.
Most labs reconstitute with Research Water, which is sterile-filtered water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol.
When it’s time to reconstitute, let the vial come to room temperature first. Add the solvent slowly down the inside wall of the vial so it doesn’t hit the powder directly, then swirl gently until the liquid is clear. Don’t shake it. Write the date on the label so you know how long it’s been mixed.
