Thymalin 10mg vial from Oath Peptides

What is Thymalin?

Our Thymalin is the synthetic thymic nonapeptide thymulin, a nine-residue peptide first described in 1977. Its sequence is Pyr-Ala-Lys-Ser-Gln-Gly-Gly-Ser-Asn, with a pyroglutamate at the start. The formula is C33H54N12O15 and the weight is about 858.86 g/mol.

A quick note on the name. Thymalin was first a Russian thymus extract with no single defined structure. What we sell under that name is the chemically defined synthetic nonapeptide. It’s the same compound as our Thymulin listing, offered under both names because labs search for both.

In the literature it’s described as a zinc-binding thymic factor, and the zinc-bound form is the active one. It’s supplied metal-free, for lab research only. See NIH PubChem.

About Khavinson bioregulator peptides

Thymalin belongs to a family of very short peptides, two to four amino acids long, developed at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology under Vladimir Khavinson. The group started in the 1970s and 1980s with polypeptide extracts from animal organs. Later they picked out short sequences inside those extracts and began making them synthetically.

Most of the published research still comes from that institute and the labs it works with, and much of it is cell culture and animal work. Independent replication is limited, so it makes sense to design studies with that in mind. You can compare the whole family in our bioregulator peptides range.

How to store Thymalin

Store refrigerated at 36 to 46 °F (2 to 8 °C). It’s soluble in water.

Most labs reconstitute with Research Water, which is sterile-filtered water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol.

When it’s time to reconstitute, let the vial come to room temperature first. Add the solvent slowly down the inside wall of the vial so it doesn’t hit the powder directly, then swirl gently until the liquid is clear. Don’t shake it. Write the date on the label so you know how long it’s been mixed.

Thymalin 10mg price and pack sizes

This is a single 10mg vial of Thymalin for $65. If your lab goes through Thymalin quickly, the multi-packs bring the cost per vial down.

Thymalin also comes in another size: Thymalin 20mg.

Thymalin FAQ

Is Thymalin an extract?

Not ours. The original Russian Thymalin was a thymus extract. We sell the defined synthetic nonapeptide.

Why do you list both Thymalin and Thymulin?

They’re the same compound. Labs search under both names, so we list both.

Is Thymalin 10mg for human use?

No. It’s sold for laboratory research only. It isn’t approved for human or veterinary use, and we don’t give dosing advice.
